Warm Athens

Well we made it, again an easy movement across the pond. That had to be the fastest Trans-Atlantic crossing to date. And after a short layover in Munich (one on Sydney’s favorite cities, or so she claims) we find ourselves in Athens on a warm Saturday night. It has been almost 21 years since our last visit, I promised Kim then that we would be back someday and she was patient. Our driver from the airport asked when we last visited and after finding out pointed out (almost) each change since we were here last.

We are at the Hotel Grande Bretagne which overlooks Syntagma Square where all the action in the Greek capital has occurred in the recent weeks. Not tonight. Both Kim and cannot believe we are back…
